Short Description
In-Person Interpretation Services for newly arriving refugees to the State of Illinois during the initial health screening and intensive medical case management and emotional wellness services for refugees arriving with complex medical conditions

The Illinois Refugee Health Screening Program-Other Services grants are available to existing refugee serving organizations currently providing culturally and linguistically appropriate services that include:

• Health Education and Promotion

• Nutrition

• Interpretation

• Mental Health Wellness

• Medical Case Management Services. These services compliment the initial health screening assessment of newly arriving refugees to the State of Illinois.

• Telephonic interpretation

Eligibility Requirements
Funding opportunity is limited to those non-profit organizations are pre-approved organizations by the IL Department of Human Services, Bureau of Refugee and Immigrant Services.
