Short Description
Education and Training on Human Trafficking Prevention focuses on providing education and training to key systems, such as, law enforcement, hospitality industry, utility workers, schools, health care professionals, human service organizations and other allied systems. The goal of the program is equipping systems with the tools to properly understand, detect, report, and prevent human trafficking. As a part of the program, a conference will be held to bring together experts, service providers, educators, and stakeholders in Illinois and surrounding states to share best practices, innovative campaigns and technology, preventative efforts and measures, and survivor care and strategies to help prevent, combat, and respond to the human trafficking crisis.
