Short Description
• Multidisciplinary Evaluation for Autism and Developmental Delay
a) Younger children are seen for a team evaluation with a physician and a speech pathologist. Psychological and occupational therapy services are provided as needed.
b) Older school aged children are seen for a team evaluation with a physician and a psychologist. Speech therapy and occupational therapy services are provided as needed.
c) A Family Resource Specialist is available to provide support, assist families with recommendations, and provide guidance in securing community resources.

Objectives and Goals
• Decrease the wait time for children under the age of 6 to receive an appropriate evaluation for autism or developmental concerns from 3 months to 2 months
• Expand access to diagnostic evaluations for children ages 6 to 18
• Provide diagnostic information to families at completion of the evaluation
• Provide follow-up care and referral for support services in the child’s community at the completion of the evaluation
