Short Description
This program provides state funding for construction costs, making grants and providing project assistance to municipalities, special transportation districts, private non-profit carriers, mass transportation carriers and the intercity rail program for the acquisition, construction, extension, reconstruction, and improvement of mass transportation facilities, including rapid transit, intercity rail, bus and other equipment used in connection therewith, as provided by law, for the purpose of downstate public transit systems.
